Credit History

A credit history not only reveals how an individual practices judgement and views obligation, it is indicative of overall stability. A credit history can be used to objectively determine an applicant's level of responsibility to financial requirements and identify excessive debt patterns and trend information. A credit history will reveal previous employments, tradelines, histories of tradelines, collections, public record filings and previous inquiries into an applicant's credit for the last seven years. Diogenes LLC fully complies with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and will only obtain credit reports for permissible purposes.

Criminal Records Check
(Countywide)

The countywide criminal records check is the widely accepted standard for reviewing an applicant's criminal record. The investigator strategically selects the county to search after running the applicant's SSN through credit bureau databases and determining the applicant's whereabouts for the last seven years. The scope of each search covers felony and misdemeanor criminal actions, pending or disposed, for the last seven years. Available in all counties in all states. Scope of search and depth of information returned varies by county. Some counties assess court fees, which are billed in addition to our fee.

Criminal Records Check
(Statewide)

A statewide criminal records check includes felony & misdemeanor records on any case, pending or disposed, involving the applicant since age 18 (Juvenile records not included.) Note: Statewide records are not available in all states.

Criminal Records Check
(Federal)

Search for criminal records in any of the U.S. Federal District Courts you specify. This search is by name only. The scope of the information returned varies by court.

Civil History

A nationwide database search is conducted under the applicant's name identifying any liens or judgements involving the applicant.

Developed & Personal References

This service provides personal insights and opinions regarding the applicant by friends, co-workers and colleagues. Initial personal references are provided by the applicant. Developed references are identified during the screening process and contacted if requested by the client. Developed references are not references provided by the applicant thus often times provided an unbiased insight into to an applicant's suitability for a position and general character.

Driver's History

This service will verify the applicant's current driver's license status and provide all citations, license revocations, automobile insurance cancellations and cited accidents. Records are checked in the state in which the applicant currently resides. However, it is recommended that the prior state's driving history be checked if the current state of residence is under 30 days. The check is essential for jobs requiring driving (e.g., jobs providing company cars, etc.)

Education Verification

This service verifies the educational information supplied by the applicant and includes complete enrollment period, highest degree attained, major and minor fields of study and the date the degree was awarded.

Employment Verification

This service verifies the applicant's employment within the past seven years, including employment period, title/position, reason for departure, eligibility for re-hire, salary, etc. The investigation also seeks to obtain character/work performance references from former supervisors and/or co-workers not listed on the applicant's resume and/or application. Initially, investigators do not contact present employers unless the client specifically gives authorization. Any contact with present employers will be conducted with complete sensitivity, with the assumption that the applicant has not informed their present employer that he/she is applying for a job elsewhere. Once an employment offer has been extended and accepted, the present employer will be contacted and employment verification results will be submitted in a supplemental report.

Professional & Industry Licensing Verification

This service provides confirmation of all professional licenses and/or certifications obtained through the appropriate government or private sector licensing authorities.

Worker's Compensation History

This service provides the applicant's worker's compensation history in the state of residence or employment and reports the accident date(s), accident type(s), type(s) of injury, amount of settlement(s), and work return date(s). Diogenes LLC fully complies with The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and will only obtain this type of information for the purpose of making certain that the applicant is not assigned a job function, which could aggravate a previous injury. The search is conducted after a conditional job offer has been made.
